Lights on in Kollywood

It’s back to lights on in Kollywood! The Cinema and TV Lightmen Association and Technicians’ Association have been on strike for a couple of weeks demanding a pay hike. FEFSI Vijayan said that the talks between the concerned parties were fruitful and the Cinema and TV Lightmen Association and Technicians’ Association has decided to end their strike from August 17th.

According to the new agreement the workers in these organizations would be paid according to the agreement entered in January 2008 and it would stay in force till 2011. Also, their work hours henceforth would be from 6 am to 6 pm.
