In
an effort to expand his presence in the television
industry, Dayanidhi Alagiri started his cable
TV distribution today. This MSO (multi system
operator) business is named Jak Communications
and is launched by his father M K Alagiri who
is the Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers
and his mother Gandhi Alagiri on April 14, 2010,
the Tamil New year’s day.
On the event, Dayanidhi Alagiri asserted that
the company has plans to cover 17 lakh connections
in the metropolitan area in a phased manner.
Besides, news sources also reveal that a new
satellite television, named, Anna TV is in the
offing. The soon to be launched television channel
will follow the entertainment channel format
and will have programs for all type of audiences. |
