Asin
has bagged an offer to star in the Hindi remake
of Kaakka Kaakka. This Tamil film, which had
Suriya and Jyothika as the lead pair, was a
massive hit among the movie buffs. Filmmaker
Vipul Shah had the rights to remake this film
in Hindi and had been scouting for a suitable
heroine to play Jyothika’s role. Finally,
it is Asin’s luck that she has bagged
the meaty role.
Bollywood star John Abraham will don Suriya’s
role. The movie will be directed by Nishikanth
Kamath.
The songs in Kaakka Kaakka, which were set to
tune by Harris Jayaraj, turned out to be chartbusters.
It is still unclear if Harris would be roped
in for this project too. |
