The
shooting of Dhanush starrer Maapillai was
proceeding at full pace at a village near
Tirunelveli when one of the tractor used for
the shoot went berserk and injured four people.
Dhanush made a visit to the hospital to meet
the injured and offered his support.
A song was being shot with Dhanush and Hansika
when the accident took place. It was a lucky
escape for the heroine claims the unit.
The shooting was cancelled following the
accident and has been postponed indefinitely.
The film is directed by Suraaj and is produced
by V Hitesh Jhabak. The music for the film
is scored by Mani Sharma.
