The
annual Rasigan Express was flagged off
yesterday (14th April, 2009). The Rasigan
Express, under the aegis of Vijay TV
will travel across Tamil Nadu to garner
votes for five different categories
- favorite film, director, actor, actress
and song – among the general public.
The function was held at the Citi Centre
in Chennai and the state Information
Minister Parithi Illamvazhuthi flagged
off the vehicle. The Producers’

president Rama Narayanan was also present
with him. The minister was the first
to cast his vote.
Movie buffs can stop by and cast their
votes for their favorite film, director,
actor, actress and song. The other categories
will be selected by the jury. Here are
the details of when the Rasigan Express
will reach your locality: Vellore -
April 15, Salem - April 16, Erode and
Tirupur - April 17, Coimbatore - April
18 and 19, Madurai - April 20 and 21,
Tiruchi - April 22, Thanjavur - April
23 and Puducherry - April 24. |
