“Shruthi Kamal’s film not shelved”, Maddy explains

After the lukewarm response received at the box office for Evano Oruvan, Madhavan has moved on to finish his next project with Nishikant Kamat in Hindi titled Mumbai Meri Jaan which will be released in June. Reacting to an allegation that his Tamil film with Shruthi Haasan has been shelved, Maddy says, “As Mumbai Meri Jaan had to be wrapped up, my film with

Shruthi is being postponed temporarily. There is no truth in the news that the film has been dropped. We will be starting work soon”.

On his other projects, Maddy states that Yaavarum Nalam with Neetu Chandra is complete and will hit the screens in August in Tamil and Hindi. After this he will feature in a film which will be directed by Selva of Naan Avanillai fame which has been inspired from the Shah Rukh Khan’s Yes Boss but is not a remake.
