Tsunami waves strike Mexican coast after 8.1 magnitude quake

According to reports, Tsunami waves up to 1 metre above tide level were recorded in Mexican cities Salina Cruz and Huatulco after an earthquake of magnitude 8.1 struck off the Mexican on Friday. At least five casualties have been reported in Mexico. Tsunami alerts were issued for several countries, Tsunami warning has been issued for seven countries, while waves above tide level are expected in Australia and Japan.
