The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday reportedly signed a memorandum of understanding with a US-based company for “Hyperloop” transportation system in Amravati. Hile the probable cost of the project, to be taken up in the public-private- partnership mode, is not disclosed. While it will connect Vijayawada and Amaravati, the Hyperloop is expected to cover the distance of over 35 km only in five minutes. A feasibility study will be held from the next month, reports say.
