Union Minster flags off India's most advanced express train

Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Monday flagged off the Mumbai-Goa bound Tejas Express at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal station. The Train will include facilities such as automatic doors, on-board infotainment, wi-fi, CCTV, fire and smoke detection facilities, tea and coffee vending machine. Reportedly, the locomotive can travel up to a maximum speed of 200 kmph and an average speed of 130 kmph. The cost of an executive class ticket is at Rs 2,680, and for AC chair car the fare has been fixed at Rs 1,280.
