TN seeks Prime Minister’s intervention on medical admissions

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami reportedly wrote a letter to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and had asked for his intervention to get the assent of the President for two state bills to ensure the continuation of the present system of admission to medical courses in the state. However, the NEET prospectus indicated that admission would be undertaken by the designated authorities using NEET marks as per applicable regulations.
