Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has reportedly said that considering Dhoni’s age, the IPL 2017 might be his last IPL tournament. According to reports, Pointing, in an interview with Cricket Australia, also added, "There's no basis to me saying that. It just seemed like a strange time to move him on as captain if he wasn't coming towards the end". Notably, Ponting, who recently named his IPL XI team, did not include Dhoni in it.
