The Madurai bench of Madras High Court on Friday reportedly directed the Karur DSP to consider a plea made by former Transport Minister V Senthil Balaji. The Public Interest Litigation by Balaji sought permission for a fast to express his opposition to the State government’s decision to shift the site for construction of a government medical college hospital from Kuppuchipalayam to Sanappiratty.
