Facebook-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has reportedly announced that it will be introducing verified business accounts for the convenience of users. With this, users will be able to communicate with verified business owners. Business profiles verified by WhatsApp will carry a green badge similar to the blue tick that Facebook gives to its verified business profile.
