A 11-year-old boy who was playing hide and seek in Tanjore’s Nanjikottai village was allegedly murdered by a 22-year-old youth. The boy reportedly tried to hide behind the youth, who shooed away the boy. The youth reportedly strangled the boy to death as the boy abused him for shooing away. When the case was under investigation, the youth reportedly appeared in the village administrative office and confessed that he has killed the boy and buried his corpse in a building next to his home. The corpse has been reportedly sent for postmortem.
