Exactly a year ago on this date, late Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa was admitted to the Apollo Hospital on Greams road. She was brought to the hospital from her residence. The doctors who examined her said that she was suffering from fever and was dehydrated. Later after 74 days on December 5th, she suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away. Ever since then AIADMK has been having internal conflicts, and it is still unclear who is the face of the party. After her demise, the state had three Chief Ministers shifting within a year, and almost a fourth one before Sasikala was convicted for the disproportionate assets case.
