Kollywood superstars Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth on Thursday attended an event organised by the TN opposition party DMK in Chennai to mark 75 years of the party's mouthpiece 'Murasoli'. During the event, in a way of clearing the speculations about him joining the DMK, Kamal said, “If I wanted to join DMK, I would have done that when DMK chief Karunanidhi questioned me to join the party in 1983. But, I never replied and he never asked again. That's his greatness. I've come here believing I'd get the same respect".
