J&K BJP spokesperson Prof Virender Gupta has reportedly blamed Article 370 of the Constitution for the creation of a “separatist emotion”. Article 370 and Article 35 A have not benefitted the people of the state, instead, they have done considerable damage, he claimed. “The time has come when the people of Jammu and Kashmir should say goodbye to Article 370 and ask the Government of India to revoke Article 35 A,” he reportedly stated.
