According to media reports, the government staff who held the strike to implement 7th pay commission recommendations should compensate by working on Saturdays, the Madras High Court said. The government staff held the strike for at least 10 days and resumed work after the court warned them to take severe action. The Court also reportedly said that an expert committee has to submit the report of recommendations for the 7th pay commission.
