According to reports, Anitha, a 17-year-old girl who filed a case against NEET medical test, has committed suicide by hanging herself in Kumulur of Ariyalur district on Friday as she failed to clear the National eligibility-cum-entrance test (NEET). Anitha reportedly scored 86 out 700 in the medical test. Reports added that Anitha had scored 1176 out of 1200 with a cut-off of 196.5 in Class XII State Board exams.
