According to reports, a total of 415 children died at BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur in August after 16 more deaths were reported on August 31. As many as 42 deaths were reported at BRD Medical College on August 29 and 30. The principal, PK Singh, reportedly confirmed that the medical college witnessed 1,256 deaths since January this year.
