According to Central Water Commission, Tamil Nadu is witnessing the highest drop in storage levels in the country. Though Chennai experienced rain for two weeks, major reservoirs continue to record 90% lower storage levels compared to last year. However, the Meteorological department reportedly said that rain would continue for the next few days.
