When North Chennai is already influenced with Dengue with half the residents being affected, it is now spreading to parts of South Chennai and nearby suburbs. Reportedly almost 150-200 cases are being witnessed in Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital on a daily basis. Out of which 35-40 are from Tambaram and nearby areas. The Tambaram Taluk health officials have come up with anti-dengue measures with mass cleaning and fogging activities.
