2015 flood impact: Chennai Airport gets ready to face northeast monsoon

With more rain expected during the northeast monsoon, the Airport Authority of India in Chennai airport has reportedly started precautionary actions so as to prevent having its runway flooded. From checking water outlets in Adyar river to water draining pumps and electric cables, the AAI has reportedly been taking measures to avoid a repeat of what happened in the airport during the 2015 floods.
