According to reports, the Chennai Metro Rail first trial on the stretch between Saidapet to AG-DMS is all set to be held in July. This stretch with a distance of about 6 km comprises four stations - Saidapet, Nandanam, Teynampet and AG-DMS. Officials reportedly said the tunnelling work and laying of tracks are complete and trial runs can begin. The construction of stations along this stretch is likely to be over by the end of the year, officials reportedly said.
