Provide planes to NSG for anti-hijacking drills: Home Ministry

The Home Ministry has reportedly ordered private airlines to routinely provide their aircraft to counter-terror force National Security Guard for anti-hijack drills. According to reports, the NSG presently only uses government-owned or Air India planes for anti-hijack drills but is entitled to seek aircraft from India-registered private airlines in emergencies. Notably, the move is intended to make NSG familiar with all types of aircraft.
