Warner becomes fastest Aussie batsman to cross 4000 ODI runs

Australia’s vice captain David Warner on Monday surpassed retired batsman Dean Jones to become the fastest Australian to score 4000 runs in ODIs. Further, Warner also became the joint-third fastest to achieve the same feat, equalling India captain Virat Kohli’s record, who had taken the same 93 innings as Warner did. Notably, Warner stayed unbeaten on 40 against Bangladesh on Monday, after rain played spoilsport their Champions Trophy fixture.
