A 56-year-old Thota Padmanabham who was allegedly thrashed by security personnel of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. According to reports, Padmanabham was beaten by security guards for standing in the ladies queue. Notably, relatives of the victim staged a protest on Monday at the mortuary of the hospital.
