Madras HC declines to stay TN engineering counselling

Stating unaided colleges had no right to question the government's right to get seats from private seats for allotment through single window system, the Madras high court has declined to stay counselling for engineering courses in Tamil Nadu. Justice K Ravichandra Baabu questioned the entertainability of the petition filed by the Anna University Self-Financing Engineering Colleges Management Association, Tirunelveli, and adjourned the matter to next week for further hearing.
