Tamil Nadu finance minister and AIADMK(A) leader D Jayakumar has reportedly demanded to know whether the resolution passed by the Salem unit of AIADMK(PTA) is the latter faction’s view or that of its leader S Semmalai’s opinion. The development comes after the district unit resolved under the leadership of the former minister to oppose the proposed merger.
