India’s Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das retired on Wednesday after 37 years of service at an event in New Delhi. Following his retirement, Corporate Affairs Secretary Tapan Ray will take additional charge of his portfolio. Notably, Das has served as Secretary of the Industries Department of Government of Tamil Nadu, Chairman and Director of Titan, and Director at Life Insurance Corporation, among others.
