The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and UN Women on Thursday cordially launched the 'Women in Politics 2017 Map'. According to this, India is ranked 148th in the number of Women MPs. However, India got the 88th position in the number of women Ministers category. Currently, women Ministers constitute for 18.5 percent of the Modi cabinet.
