Sony TV to stop broadcasting Pehredaar Piya Ki

Pehredaar Piya Ki, a Hindi soap which went viral for all wrong reasons will finally go off air after facing many petitions. The show was accused of encouraging child marriage by showing a 10-year-old boy tie knot to an 18-year-old woman. Several organisations and individuals filed a complaint against this show.
