The demonetised notes are reportedly being processed by the RBI to verify numerical accuracy and authenticity. Finance Minister reportedly said that steps had been taken to increase RBI's processing capacity to complete counting "as soon as possible". He further added that no high quality counterfeit new currency notes have been seized by any agency post demonetisation.
