Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare reportedly announced a day-long hunger strike on Gandhi Jayanti after paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in Delhi. “It's been 70 years since our country gained independence, but we have moved away from the vision he had for India. It is for this reason that I am going to launch my satyagraha from Gandhiji's samadhi”, Hazare told reporters. Hazare also said that he is not satisfied with PM Modi's work and therefore going on a hunger strike near Gandhi statue at Rajghat.
