According to police reports, a 7-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered by a relative in Kerala's Kollam. Reportedly the girl's body was found in a rubber estate in Kulathupuzha. The girl went missing on Wednesday after she left for her tuition class in the morning. Reports further added that the girl's mother had asked relative Rajesh to take her to the tuition centre. The police scanned the CCTV camera footage from near a junction where the child was last seen with Rajesh. They took Rajesh into custody and during interrogation, he confessed to raping the girl and strangling her to death, the police said.
