No petrol for helmetless riders

The government of Andhra reportedly got more strict on road safety. According to media reports, to change the mindset of people on wearing helmets while riding bikes, the fuel stations have been instructed not to fill in petrol if the rider is not wearing a helmet. The police have also arranged to sell helmets at petrol bunks. Reportedly this triggered an outrage among motorists, following which transport minister Sidda Raghava Rao directed the officials to put the rule on hold.
