India has lost 1-4 to Denmark in the Sudirman Cup badminton championship on Monday. Indian shuttler PV Sindhu won 21-18 21-6 against Line Kjaersfeldt of Denmark in women’s singles, while another Ajay Jayaram was defeated 12-21 7-21 by World number three Viktor Axelsen in men’s singles. Notably, Indian shuttlers were also defeated in men’s and women’s doubles.
