Madras High Court has reportedly directed the state Election Commission to conduct the local body elections in Tamil Nadu before May 14. According to reports, the electoral body had announced, on Monday, that it is planning to conduct elections in before May 15. Notably, the elections were scheduled to be conducted in September 2016 and were postponed later.
