According to reports, Steve Scalise, the United States House of Representatives Majority Whip and four other congressional Republicans were allegedly shot by a gunman during a baseball practice game in Virginia on Wednesday. Police have arrested the suspect who reportedly fired 50 shots, and launched an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump called Scalise a patriot and a fighter and thanked the Police for their heroic actions in stopping the shooter. Further, he claimed that the attack might have been politically motivated.
