Sadhvi Saraswati, a Hindu political activist and religious preacher, has stoked a controversy by saying people who eat beef as 'status symbol' should be hanged. Sadhvi reportedly made the remark at the inauguration of a four-day All India Hindu Convention held at Ramnathi in Goa. Sadhvi went on to urge Hindus to stock arms at home to 'save our women from love jihad'.
