American multinational company Cognizant is expected to reduce its employee count as a part of performance reviews. According to reports, around 75 percent of the total 260,000 employees in Cognizant are employed in India and the company is likely to lay off nearly 5 percent of them. A spokesperson from Cognizant has said that resizing their employee base is a part of their standard practice.
