BCCI opens applications for post of India's head coach

The BCCI on Wednesday invited applications for the post of Indian cricket team’s head coach, with current coach Anil Kumble’s tenure concluding post the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. According to reports, there are rumors that the BCCI is not happy with Anil Kumble over his wage demands contention for the contracted players and coaching staffs. However, the board revealed that Kumble would get a direct entry for the selection process.  Reportedly, an Advisory Committee comprising Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and VVS Laxman will conduct the interviews, while a CoA member will oversee the process.
