Transport police from the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday reportedly gifted chocolate and roses to the drivers travelling on the Chennai-Kolkata National Highway. The police also gave their drivers facilities for refreshing themselves, even arranging hotel rooms for some tired drivers. According to reports, the effort is said to be a campaign called “war against road accidents.”
