Apple becomes world's first company to hit $800 billion

According to a report by Fortune, US tech giant Apple became the world’s first company to touch the $800 billion milestone on Monday. With $800 billion, the company’s valuation was higher than the combined market cap of all the 30 Sensex companies, which stood at $784 billion. Meanwhile, Apple is followed by Google’s parent company Alphabet and Microsoft in market valuation.
