German tennis player and world number one Angelique Kerber has advanced to the second round of Wimbledon on Tuesday. Kerber won 6-4, 6-4 against American player Irina Falconi in the opening round of women’s singles category. Notably, Kerber is set to face Belgium’s Kirsten Flipkens in the next round of the tournament.
