All the telecom subscribers will reportedly have to undergo a fresh Aadhaar verification process soon. According to reports, the Centre, after the Supreme Court’s order to link all mobile numbers to Aadhaar, is likely to start the process of bulk verification, which is estimated to cost at least Rs 1,000 crore. Notably, the apex court had given a deadline of February 6, 2018, to the Centre to complete this process.
