Day 3 went in a hurry with the 'Film Industry Anti-piracy Coalition Launch', the historical launch of an anti-piracy alliance between the Hindi film industry and the Hollywood studios with the keynote address by Dan Glickman, Chairman, Motion Pictures Association of America (MPAA). The alliance ensured Hollywood's greater support in curtailing piracy of Indian movies abroad.

The Future of Film Marketing: Growing Ancillary Revenues session aimed at the alternative streams of revenue generation and many valid points were put forth by the delegates and the dignitaries on the dais.

The session on 'Music Industry: Remedies for Revival' concluded with the fact that the industry has to understand that it is no longer easy to sell their hard discs but should find out more innovative ways to sell their music to the masses.

The session 'Entertaining India in the Next Decade' talked about the future of the media industry content-wise, movie-wise, theatre and music but everyone did miss the keynote speech by Kamal Haasan who was unable to attend the function.

The Valedictory Session followed with Ashok Amritraj, CEO, Hydepark Entertainment lightening the mood with his speech but the session dived back to seriousness when the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Ambika Soni addressed the all-important Piracy issue and about the need to revise the service tax on films. The session also took questions and Harish representing Behindwoods.com asked her about the need for revising and capping the multiplex ticket price which was properly noted down.

And finally to end the three-day long successful FICCI Journey a glamorous award function was carried out which awarded excellence in Television and Films. A.R. Rahman and Shah Rukh Khan won the Global Icon of the year and Global Entertainment and Media Personality award, respectively.

3 idiots got the best film and best director award and Amitabh Bachchan and Vidya Balan got the prestigious actor and actress award for their performance in Paa. Pritam Chakraborthy was awarded the best music director award for Love Aaj Kal. And Ranbir Kapoor deservingly won the best entertainer award.

Overall, the three days of information and glamour ended with fireworks and a promise of a better year for media and entertainment.
