3-D version of a flop movie
By Behindwoods News Bureau.
July 18, 2007
Bollywood’s experimentation with scripts has now graduated to 3-D movies too. Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) has decided to make a 3-D animated version of their movie. PNC, the highly respected production house in Bollywood, had given hits like Khante, Jhankar Beats and Pyar Ke Side Effects under their belt.
Ek Khiladi Ek Hassena
Despite all these hits, the production house has decided to on a flop movie Ek Khiladi Ek Hassena. Aptly titled ‘EKEH 2.0,’ the movie starred Feroz Khan, his son Fardeen Khan and Keona Mitra.

PNC had signed a five-film animation deal with Motion Pixel Corporation, Florida. The most interesting feature is that these movies will also have item numbers.

The deal will see PNC handle the creative aspects right from the development of scripts, movie soundtracks, including contracting top Bollywood and International stars to do voice-overs for the animated characters. This is indeed a new trend; but why select a flop movie? PNC’s main spokesman said that the movie had more potential and the animated version will attract a lot of audience.
