the Indian of the Year – 2009 awards.
Mozart of Madras A R Rahman was honoured with
the Global Indian Entertainer award for taking
India to the world stage by winning two Oscars
and Grammys.
Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh
Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were also honoured
with the icon of 21 years Entertainment award.
Home Minister P Chidambaram presented the
prestigious award to Shah Rukh Khan.
Ranbir Kapoor received the Male Entertainer
of the Year award and Priyanka Chopra bagged
the Female Entertainer of the Year Award.
