Mallika Sherawat has bagged an offer to star with Laz Alonso of the Avatar fame. The actress, whose role will be called Aretha Gupta, plays a devoted Obama volunteer coordinator.

In this film, titled Love, Barack, Mallika, a staunch democrat falls in love with Laz Alonso, a Republican.

Apart from Mallika and Laz Alonso, the film also has Ruby Dee, Gerry Bednob and Loretta Devine in the cast.
